About Murphy's
Murphy's restaurant was founded in 1988 by Erik & Stephen
Larson and Tom Phillip. Murphy's was originally located on Hwy. 105
where Comfort Suites now exisist. Murphy's moved to historic downtown
boone on King St. in 1996. It is settled among a wide variety of
shopping and is within walking distance to Appalachian State University.
Before it was Murphy's the building was occupied by the Watauga
Democrat.
